Police are looking for a member of the public who intervened in an altercation at a Sainsburys store in Thetford over the weekend.
It follows an incident of shoplifting at the Forest Retail Park store on Sunday at 1.10pm when a man was detained by staff on suspicion of stealing a TV.
The group were then involved in an altercation during which a member of the public intervened.
Officers are keen to speak with the member of the public who assisted and hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
A 37-year-old man arrested on suspicion of theft was questioned by police and released on bail until March 14 while enquiries continue.
