Police were called to an incident in Ber Street in Norwich after a person had a 'medical episode' this morning.
An ambulance attended, and police were called at 7.30am.
A Norfolk police spokesman said officers were called due to 'concerns for safety'.
The ambulance service was called at 7.48am to a report of a man who had collapsed.
An ambulance crew attended in less than six minutes.
They treated a man in his 20s who was conscious and breathing and was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (N&N) for further care.
