Three people have been injured following a serious crash in Norwich.

As previously reported the incident happened shortly after 4pm yesterday when a silver Honda H-RV and an orange Italjet Dragster moped were involved in a collision on Aylsham Road outside Mecca Bingo at about 4pm.

The male rider of the moped, aged in his 20s, sustained serious leg injuries and the male driver of the Honda, aged in his 50s, suffered a spinal injury. They were both taken to the Norfolk and Norwich hospital for treatment. A passenger in the Honda also suffered slight injuries.

The road was blocked whilst emergency services attended and re-opened shortly after 7.30pm.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information concerning the driving manner of either vehicle prior to the collision.
