Police appeal following Ladbrokes bookmakers break-in at Diss

Police are appealing for information following a burglary at a bookmakers shop in Mere Street, Diss.

The break-in happened at Ladbrokes between 9pm on April 14 and 8.50am on April 15.

Suspects gained access to the premises by smashing a window at the back of the property before removing security bars.

Officers believe the burglary may be linked to an incident of criminal damage at nearby Coral Racing. Sometime between 8.30am on April 14 and 1.30pm on April 15, suspects removed the alarm sensors from the front of the building although there were no signs of attempts to enter the property.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Cecilia Powell at Diss Police Station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
