An elderly man suffered minor injuries after being struck by a car in Diss town centre.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the collision that happened in the Market Place last Friday morning.

The pedestrian, aged in his 70s, suffered minor injuries after being hit by a Vauxhall Astra close to the junction with St Nicholas Street at about 10am.

Officers said they were not treating it as a hit and run incident.
