Police appeal after pedestrian is hit by car in North Walsham

A witness appeal has been launched after a pedestrian was knocked down by a car in North Walsham.

A man in his 70s was involved in a collision with a blue Chrysler Crossfire on the A149 near to the junction with Norwich Road at about 8.20am yesterday

He suffered a broken leg and a head injury, and remains in the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

The police are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, particularly who may have seen the pedestrian walking in the area before the crash or has information about the driving manner of the car.
