A Mercedes driver had to take action to avoid colliding with a silver car prior to a crash close to a Suffolk village just before Christmas.
The unidentified silver or white vehicle had turned off the A143 onto Redgrave Road and into the path of the Mercedes which was forced to take evasive action before colliding with a Nissan travelling behind the silver car at the junction of the A143 and B1113 at Botesdale.
The small silver car then drove away undamaged from the scene towards Redgrave shortly before 5pm on Friday. The Mercedes and Nissan were damaged, but the drivers were unhurt. Anyone who knows the silver car driver or saw the crash should phone PC Dave Shaw at Bury on 101.
