A piano recital next month will raise money for the Bungay committee of the NSPCC.

International concert pianist Nina Vinogradova-Biek has offered to give the recital to support the charity, and it will be held at the Waveney House Hotel in Beccles on Sunday, October 8, at 3pm.

Ms Vinogradova-Biek, who lives in Bungay, and whose Russian-born parents were both concert pianists, has had a long career as a sought after classic recitalist, performing throughout Europe and further afield and at many of the world's top concert venues.

Her programme for the NSPCC concert will last about an hour and will feature romantic piano classics. It will include work by Chopin, Schumann, Schubert, Mozart and Sinding.

Tickets for the concert are £10, available from Terry Reeve on 01986 896416 or email terry.reeve19@btinternet.com. They are also available from Saxon at 35, New Market, Beccles, or on the door subject to availability.
