Thousands of people celebrated north Norfolk's world class produce in the stunning grounds of the Holkham Estate near Wells.

The fifth annual North Norfolk Food and Drink Festival, held on Sagturday and Sunday, attracted more than 12,000 people.

Visitors enjoyed a food lovers' paradise, with 64 stalls run by some of the county's top producers and highly-acclaimed chefs putting on live cookery demonstrations.

Festival chairman Chris Coubrough, from Flying Kiwi Inns, said: 'This is a great celebration of the world class food and drink produced here.

'With the quality on offer here and the generosity of the Holkham Estate for allowing us to hold the festival at this beautiful location, it couldn't fail.'

The festival's main sponsor, for the fourth successive year, was Kettle Foods, who awarded £1,000 worth of business mentor support to Essence Foods, a producer of reduced sugar jams.

Louisa Grant, from Kettle Foods, said: 'We started our business from attending events like this and it is now worth £100m.

'There are so many business here with the potential to do what we've done and we feel it is important to support them in that.'

The North Norfolk Food and Drink Festival kicks off the county-wide Norfolk Food and Drink Festival.
