Hopes are high that the Swaffham Free Festival will go head next year and be run over two days.
Members of the Iceni Partnership are due to meet tomorrow to decide if the festival, which was funded by the Breckland Rural Development Programme, has a future.
It was held for the first time yesterday when crowds gathered in Market Place to watch six hours of live music.
Kate Francis, from the Iceni Partnership, said: 'Things have gone well, we've had a good turnout and lots of support. We hope to run it as a two-day festival next year but that will be decided at Tuesday's meeting.'
The festival is one of several new events held in Swaffham this year to boost the town's economy.
