The organiser of the Norwich Oxjam festival said they were 'blown away' by the enthusiasm and generosity of the public at this year's event.
Four bands kicked off this year's festival at a special launch gig at Open on Friday. And then, yesterday, the charity festival took over five venues across the city, with one wristband gaining entry to Karma Kafe, Bedfords, The Birdcage, The Murderers and The Owl Sanctuary.
All bands agreed to play the event for free, with every penny raised going to help Oxfam and its work all over the world.
Festival organiser Robbie Powell said: 'We could not be happier with the way the event went. We have been blown away by the enthusiasm and generosity of the public, and tonight was the cumulation of several months' hard work by a large number of people.
'To see so many happy faces and so many great performances, while raising money for such a great cause as Oxfam, is truly a win-win situation. It has been a great learning experience for all of us, and we can't wait to come back next year bigger and better.'
The Oxjam Norwich team has raised more than £1,800 so far this year, and hopes last weekend's festival will boost the total.
