A community has bid an emotional farewell to a mother who fell to her death from a multi-storey car park in Lowestoft.
About 75 people turned out at St Michael's Church, Oulton Broad this morning to pay tribute to Fiona Anderson at a service of thanksgiving for the life of Fiona and her children Levina, Addy, Kyden and Evalie.
The funeral service for the 23-year-old was held almost two months after Fiona had fallen from the Battery Green multi-storey car park in Gordon Road on Monday, April 15.
With the service conducted by Rev Robin Pritchard, he spoke of the 'deep sorrow' felt by Fiona's death.
He said: 'Fiona suffered a profound loss of confidence in herself and in societies' ability to help her. This has been terrible for everyone. We are shocked, feel guilty and are experiencing a sense of terrible waste.
'Should we condemn Fiona? Not at all.'
A private committal took place after the service at Lowestoft Cemetery, as Miss Anderson was laid to rest overlooking the graves of Levina, Addy and Kyden, who were buried at the town's main cemetery on June 5.
Miss Anderson was eight-months pregnant and expecting her fourth child – Evalie – with Mr McLelland when she fell more than 30ft to her death from the top floor of the Battery Green car park.
Almost three hours after the death of Miss Anderson, police officers found her children Levina, Addy, and Kyden dead at their home in London Road South.
