A person had to be rescued by the fire service through a window after a fall in Sprowston.

The East of England Ambulance Service was called to Templemere at 9.20pm on Monday after reports someone had fallen and sent a community first responder and ambulance crew.

Fire services from Sprowston and Earlham assisted the ambulance service and according to a witness “rescued someone out of a high floor window on a stretcher.”

One patient was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further treatment.
