Nine bands and artists will be performing an eclectic mix of music as the annual Harvest Moon Music Festival returns to Beccles tomorrow.
The free event, organised by Beccles Community Arts, is now in its ninth year and will be staged at Beccles Quay from noon to dusk (8.30pm.)
The festival will include classic blues, indie pop, jazz, covers, originals and more, offering something for all musical tastes.
And as well as the music there will be variety of stalls, a children's roundabout, donkey rides and plenty of food and drink.
The Butchers Arms' landlord Ian Willis will once again be running the bar with real ales, wines and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages on offer.
Kicking off the music will be Hot Cold Ground, playing blues rock, classic blues and 1960s pop. They will be followed by Aphra at 1pm performing indie pop and originals, Vaudevue at 1.45pm playing indie/alternative rock and originals and Maizie Walsh at 2.30pm playing covers and originals.
At 3.15pm, The Baroness and the Bear will be taking to the stage playing electro acoustic blues, with jazz, folk and world influences. The band said: 'We love playing at our local festivals, it's wonderful to play to lovely people in your own community, we are really looking forward to it.'
They will be followed by Mista Beat at 4.15pm with a fusion of folk, dance, reggae and swing, The Old Stuff Band at 5.15pm playing 70s to 90 covers and The Fool's Moon at 6.15pm playing blues, county, fusion, jazz and progressive rock. Rounding off the evening will be headliners True Scape taking to the stage at 7.15pm, performing pop/rock originals.
All of the bands come from Norfolk and Suffolk and will be supported by sound engineer Silas Rayner, who is director of the Suffolk-based Maui Waui Festival.
Visitors are welcome to take along chairs and a picnic, or purchase food from the many stalls at the event. There will also be information stalls, a mud kitchen, face painting, Beccles and Bungay Journal goody bags, and plants, a tombola and information stall organised by Beccles Community Arts.
Although the event is free to attend there will be donation buckets for anyone who would like to support the committee's project to build a community stage at the quay, along with plenty of parking for a donation.
