Graffiti in a March has been cleaned up as part of a drive to discourage anti-social behaviour.
Members of the Community Payback team spent seven hours in tackling areas which have been plagued by litter and offensive graffiti. PCSO Claire Stalworthy organised the event, which focused on sites in Robingoodfellow's Lane and Hundred Lane as well as other hot-spots.
She said: 'I could see as the day went on that the Payback team were benefiting from the tasks. It helps them realise how things like graffiti really do affect the community.'
Litter picking and other activities were completed as part of the drive to make areas look more welcoming.
