A tea party and royal-themed quiz were the highlights of a jubilee bash in Overstrand this week.
Held in the village's Methodist church hall on Monday, a full tea was organised by residents Vivienne Hastings, Pauline Clarke, Jacquie Lloyd and Janet Ellis.
Almost 30 people attended the dinner and took part in the quiz. This was followed by a sing-a-long of patriotic songs.
Mrs Ellis said: 'This was a wonderful afternoon enjoyed by both the guests and those who organised the event. It was smiles and laughter throughout the afternoon as old friends met up over the tea tables.'
