Curious visitors thronged to see Norfolk's newest tourist attraction when Davenport's Magic Kingdom opened its doors for business in North Walsham on Saturday.
The £1,150,000 project represents a dream come true for its creator, magician Roy Davenport, who has been planning the museum and theatre venture for the past seven years.
Secrets hidden behind the blank facade of the former Cromer Road Crane Fruehauf factory were revealed when the first customers stepped inside to be greeted by a witch.
But Mr Davenport has warned that, if the public do not support the attraction, his family's unique collection of magical artefacts, amassed over four generations, could be lost to Britain.
Find out why in tomorrow's EDP.
