An area outside Prezzo restaurant in Tombland was cordoned off at around 6am yesterday after a woman reported she had been sexually assaulted by a man.

The entrance to the building next door, which houses the Flying Classrooms School of English, had also been cordoned off and police said the two scenes were linked.

The seal was lifted at around 6pm once police had concluded initial enquiries.

A Norfolk police spokesperson said: 'Investigations are continuing into the circumstances surrounding the incident.'
