Children in Norwich were able to get one step closer to nature at a community picnic in Kett's Cave.
The free picnic was hosted as part of Love Parks Week, a celebration of green spaces in peoples communities.
The RSPB were on hand to help young people get involved with the wild side of the fine city as youngsters took part in mini-beast safaris, scavenger hunts and national treasure quests.
Hosted by ROOTS Norfolk, a business that provides opportunities for children and adults to get involved with nature through outdoor activities.
ROOTS Norfolk hosted the feast as part of a new scheme called From the Roots Up Outdoor Community Projects which looks to get more young people involved in looking after parks and open spaces in the NR3 area with the goal of setting up a youth team.
