The management team of a Tombland restaurant has reassured people that the venue is still open for business.
Tatlers restaurant in Norwich closed unexpectedly for a few days this week, prompting concern from members of the public who had booked Christmas parties there.
A member of staff said it was due to problems with a boiler and flooding, but that this had now been fixed.
The restaurant is set to close its doors for three to four weeks from mid January for a full refurbishment before re-opening under new management.
On its website, Tatlers is described as offering 'exquisite' cuisine.
