Window shoppers were treated to a glamorous new addition in Norwich on Saturday as a new pop-up shop hosted a live mannequin draped over its chaises longues.

For the past 10 days, Helen Linehan, wife of Father Ted writer Graham, has taken over the former Bell Jar on Upper St Giles, with a selection of vintage furniture from East Germany. And after an introduction to glam transgender Ava Rollason, Mrs Linehan enlisted her help in drawing the eye of the weekend crowds.

'It puts a smile on people's faces because it is something out of the ordinary for Norwich,' said Ms Rollason.
