A team of North Norfolk District Council (NNDC) staff and councillors challenged a similar team of rowers to a 'race' along the 45 miles of the north Norfolk coastline as part of last week's Sport Relief efforts - all from the comfort of the council's car park, on Holt Road, Cromer.

The event was won by the cyclists who were helped in the final stages by North Norfolk MP Norman Lamb and district council leader Tom FitzPatrick.

Staff also held a dress-down day for the cause, held a sweepstake, and organised a popular Sport Relief bake-off. Their combined efforts raised £343.37.
