Norfolk school shut today
A school near Swaffham has had to shut today after on-going water maintenance in the area.
Castle Acre Church of England VC Primary school on Back Lane in Castle Acre has had to shut its doors today after Anglian Water had to turn the water off due to continuing work.
Head teacher Kenneth Kay, said: 'They have got some work to do. They have been carrying out work in the area for quite a while now. They started a week or so ago.
'We were informed about the work last Thursday morning. There was no guarantee what time the water would come on. We were told sometime between 8.30am and 4pm.
'We were able to let the parents known before the weekend.
'We will be back in action tomorrow.'
