Hannah Griffiths from Acle is living the Disney dream after recently been awarded the title of Miss Mermaid Norfolk.
The 34-year-old Digital Marketing Manager is now hoping to be crowned national champion at the Miss Mermaid UK finals in Northampton in July.
Miss Mermaid UK is a unique pageant for mermaid lovers which has been running since 2014.
However in order to take part, contestants are required to raise £450 in sponsorship.
In an effort to obtain the funds, Miss Griffiths has set up an online campaign on JustGiving, where she is also hoping to raise money for the Marine Conservation Society.
She said: 'I really feel with the public's support I have what it takes to win and become Miss Mermaid UK and I'd also like to raise some monies for a fin-tastic charity!
'The Marine Conservation Society (MCS) is the UK's leading charity for the protection of our seas, shores and wildlife. Our seas are under immense pressure: too many fish are being taken out, too much rubbish is being thrown in sand too little is being done to protect marine wildlife and fish stocks.
'I only have until Sunday March 26 to raise the funds, so please help me scale to the top!'
