Here are some of the pictures our photographers took of the big – and small – events which made the headlines in 2010.
Thousands of people lined the streets as a colourful peloton of cyclists pedalled their way from one side of the county to the other for a stage of the Tour of Britain.
Soldiers received a hero's welcome as they returned home from Afghanistan and the Queen paid a visit to Norwich to officially open the new Hostry and Refectory at Norwich Cathedral.
There was delight as Norwich won promotion back into the Championship but upset for some when Charles Clarke lost his Norwich South seat after 13 years. Tiny hamster Pebbles won hearts across the county and Mother Nature gave our photographers ample opportunity to get some shots of the weather.
