A father has spoken of his grief after his daughter was allegedly murdered on Monday evening.
Charles Searle from Watton said he had been going through 'hell' since his daughter Deborah Simister, 45, died in hospital following an alleged attack at her home in Wiltshire.
Mrs Simister lived in Watton for two years where she was a full time carer for her father, but recently moved to Amesbury in Wiltshire.
Her husband James, known as Roy, has been arrested and charged with her murder.
The 49-year-old appeared before magistrates in Salisbury on Wednesday.
Mrs Simister, a mother-of-four, was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital on Monday evening with serious stab wounds to her neck where she later died.
Speaking to the Eastern Daily Press, Mr Searle, 69, said: 'She was lovely and caring. We had two dogs and used to go out.
'She was very strict with me and she was a great carer. She absolutely doted on her family.'
Family tributes were also released through Wiltshire police from her children, Louise Searle, 25, Christopher Howell, 22, David Howell, 21 and Amy Howell, 19, and her mother Pamela Searle, 68 who lives in Norfolk.
They said: 'She was always chatty and made lots of friends in the community. She loved cooking and reading and happily walked her dogs for miles.
'She will be sorely missed by all her family and friends and we fervently hope justice will be served.
'For Debz to have her life snatched away so young leaves a big hole in all our lives.'
Her 19-year-old daughter Amy Howell called her 'my lovely mum', saying: 'She's really very precious and she means the world to me for no one can compare with her in any way.'
Mr Simister was remanded in custody to appear at Winchester Crown Court on June 14.
