Norfolk brews at Aylsham ale festival

Norfolk ales will feature prominently at next month's Aylsham Beer Festival.

Beers from Reepham's new Panther brewery, Tipples at Acle and regular stalwarts, Woodbastwick-based Woodforde's will be among over 30 available to sample at the event, in the town's old Cawston Road cinema, on April 15 and 16.

The festival, now in its sixth year, regularly attracts over 500 people and raises more than 2,000 for local charities supported by event organisers, Aylsham Round Table.

The club hit the headlines last year when Dancing on Ice star and former Page 3 model Linda Lusardi gave it her backing in a promotional video.

Ciders, wine and live music on both nights are among other attractions at the festival which will be open from 6pm to midnight on the Friday, and 11am to midnight on Saturday.

Entry is 12, which includes entrance, a commemorative glass and three pints of either real ale or cider.
