A refurbished village sign will be formally unveiled and dedicated next weekend.
The Oulton village sign, which has been refurbished by students at Lowestoft College, will be showcased on Saturday, March 25 at 10am.
Brian Hunter, chairman of Oulton Parish Council, said: 'The programme of the event will be, almost exactly, as it was when the sign was first dedicated on March 24, 1990. At that time four children from two local schools performed the unveiling ceremony. Two of those children, now grown up, are happy to perform the unveiling again.'
After the village sign has been unveiled, it will be dedicated by the Rev Robin Pritchard, rector of St Michael's Church in Oulton. Guests will then head to Oulton Community Centre for coffee and refreshments after the dedication ceremony.
