Two sites on Regent Road in Great Yarmouth could soon have new businesses in, after planning applications were lodged to the borough council.

Two separate applications have been made to change the purposes of two locations, which if successful will see a new restaurant and tattoo studio, and an additional ice cream parlour.

The restaurant and tattoo studio application was submitted for 12A Regent Road, which is currently occupied by the China Town buffet.

Meanwhile, the ice cream parlour and coffee shop is proposed for 21 Regent Road, currently Vision - a shop selling mobile phone accessories and e-cigarettes.

Both applications are currently under consideration and are available for comment on the council's website
