An online gift and craft business has established its first retail outlet.

Melanie Brooks, who owns Bon Ami Cottage Crafts has opened Shabby 'n' Chic at The Sanctuary, a former cinema in the heart of Feltwell.

The businesswoman said: 'We've recently opened up at The Sanctuary and the response from locals as well as American Air Force personnel and their families has been terrific. We've even developed our own tailored range of gifts bearing the Stars and Stripes insignia.'

'It seems we are also a great place for men to shop who are not too sure what to buy their spouses and I'm delighted with how business is going both in store and online.'

The Sanctuary, set up nine years ago by Lisa Slade, is a building that dates back to 1911 and has served a number of roles for the people of Feltwell including as a cinema, community centre and a lap dancing club.

As well as Bon Ami, The Sanctuary is home to the Lazy Daze Beauty Salon, Deb 'n' Hair, Sid's Skin Art Tattooist, and Harleys Coffee Shop.
