A vital life-saving piece of equipment has been installed in a Breckland town.
The new defibrillator can be found at Thetford Library, in Raymond Street. It is now the second in the town, with another situated by McDonald's on the Forest Retail Park.
Fund-raising for the £1,800 defibrillator was carried out by the Thetford Community First Responders.
The first responders have said their goal is to put a defibrillator on every estate in the town.
Andrew Barlow, community collaborations manager with the East of England Ambulance Service (EEAS), said: 'The Thetford CFR do a lot of collections and they get a lot of support from Thetford Garden Centre.'
Last year the first responders raised £1,446.58.
In January, they provided 266 hours of voluntary cover for the EEAS, responding to 41 emergency calls - 80pc of those calls they were first on scene to provide support.
