A new cafe could soon be opening in the centre of King's Lynn.
Vivlado Caleiras has applied to change the use of a former newsagent's shop near to the popular Majestic Cinema, on the town's pedestrianised Tower Street.
In his planning application to West Norfolk council, he states: 'We want a change of use to be a cafe, we plan to make sandwiches on the premise.
'We will sell pre-made cakes and make coffee.'
Councillors on the planning committee are expected to discuss the proposal when they meet next month.
Tower Street, between Blackfriars Street and Regent Way, is made up almost entirely of independent traders and small businesses.
The redevelopment of Lynn town centre has been followed by a diverse number of small cafes and eateries.
