Due to the popularity of a free Easter egg trail, which last year produced more than 500 entrants, telephone and Facebook bookings have become unmanageable – so a new voucher system has been introduced.

The Lowestoft Lions event, which is specifically aimed at children aged 10 and under, will be held at Sparrow's Nest Gardens in Lowestoft on Easter Sunday, April 16.

This year each participating child will require a voucher which will then be exchanged for a quiz sheet on the day – with an Easter Egg treat awaiting each child who completes the trail.

Vouchers can be collected from the following four shops from March 1 – Cooks Furnishers in London Road South, Kirkley and Cooks Furnishers in London Road North (opposite the police station), Dixon's newsagent in Ashburnham Way, Carlton Colville and Gresham newsagent in Gresham Avenue, Oulton Broad. Organisers stress that regrettably vouchers cannot be reserved, so they are encouraging people to collect their voucher as soon as possible.
