A new basketball hoop is set to be installed in Salhouse within the month, after being approved by Salhouse Parish Council.
The council's latest meeting, on Wednesday night, saw the possibility of a basketball hoop for the play area at the recreation ground on Thieves Lane discussed.
It was approved, along with a new flagpole for the Jubilee Hall, on Lower Street, which is hoped to be in place in time for St George's Day.
It was also confirmed that the annual Salhouse Rovers five-a-side football tournament will be held on the weekend of June 23 and 24.
