Soul Church, based in Mason Road, Norwich, staged four performances of its festive production called The Wonder last weekend.

It was the third year the church had presented the show and about 200 children, young people and adults were involved in the 2016 production.

Pastor Jon Norman said The Wonder aimed to 'connect people with the true wonder of Christmas' and that he was overwhelmed by the number of people who came to watch.

He said: 'We have grown from last year, and it is so exciting to be able to give this gift to Norwich.'

Pastor Chantel Norman said plans were already in place to make next year's festive production even bigger.

Soul Church is part of the Hillsong Family of churches.

Pastors Jon and Chantel Norman took over Norwich Family Life Church in July 2014 and launched Soul Church.

It has grown rapidly over the last two years and now more than 1,000 people of all ages call it their home.
