Norfolk churches missing a distinctive silver crucifix have been urged to contact police after officers recovered religious items from a property near Fakenham.
Detectives made the discovery while carrying out a search warrant at an address in Syderstone.
The items included the crucifix, measuring 21cm high and 12cm wide, which is believed to have been stolen from a village church in West Norfolk, Norwich or North Norfolk.
A small soft-backed book entitled The Book of Mormon was also found, believed to have been taken during a separate theft.
Police suspect both items were stolen before February 10 last year.
