A musical trio whose members have starred in West End shows will perform at this year's Norfolk Show Ball.

The charity spectacular at the Norfolk Showground, which is supporting Veterans Norfolk, boasts a quartet of Army band musicians.

And when they pack their instruments away, The Spinettes will take to the stage.

The group was formed through a shared love of music of the 1940s to 1960s, and has been performing together since 2010.

Cabaret singers The Spinettes have wowed crowds on cruise ships such as the Queen Mary 2, and have also performed at Number 10 and Number 11 Downing Street.

Individually, they have performed in professional shows such as Cats, Starlight Express, West Side Story and Grease.

At the show ball, as they come to the end of their cabaret section, the lighting will change and dance band e2 will take to the stage to take the party through to the early hours of the morning.

Working on film premieres, taking bookings from as far afield as Bali and Monaco, e2 have a worldwide reputation for being an exciting and dynamic band.

Closer to home they have played at celebrity weddings including the wedding reception for former England footballer Jamie Carragher.

This year's Norfolk Show Ball takes place at the Norfolk Showground on Friday, June 20. Tickets for the black tie evening cost £75 each and can be bought by calling 01603 757658 or emailing bookings@softleyevents.co.uk. Tables can be booked for eight, 10 or 12 places.
