Six men have been arrested following a disturbance at a nightclub.

Several men suffered head and facial injuries following the incident on Station Hill in Bury St Edmunds early on the morning of June 19. The men were all taken to the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

• A 31-year-old man from the Bury St Edmunds area was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and possession of an offensive weapon. He has been released on police bail to return to Bury St Edmunds Police Station on July 4.

• A 22-year-old man from Thetford was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly and violent disorder. He has been released on police bail to return to Bury St Edmunds Police Station on July 7.

• A 22-year-old man from Thetford was arrested on suspicion of assault ABH, violent disorder and possession of cocaine. He has been released on police bail to return to Bury St Edmunds Police Station on July 5.

• A 20-year-old man from Thetford was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder. He has been released on police bail to return to Bury St Edmunds Police Station on July 6.

• A 21-year-old man from Thetford was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder. He has been released on police bail to return to Bury St Edmunds Police Station on July 4.

• A 21-year-old man from Thetford was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder. He has been released on police bail to return to Bury St Edmunds Police Station on July 5.
