Motorists could experience disruption in a Norfolk village while work takes place to install a new drainage system at a children's centre and resurface a carriageway.

Norfolk County Council will start installing the drainage system through the playground at Gissing Children's Centre on or shortly after July 30 and will resurface the existing carriageway in Church Lane, with the work expected to take three weeks to complete.

Temporary signs will be set up during construction, but access to St Mary's Church will not be affected.

There will be no access to the Children's Centre via Church Lane, however there will be another access in use.

The work is expected to cost 14,130.
