Three fire crews attended the scene of a crash in Thurlton on Saturday evening, which saw a motorist initially trapped inside their vehicle.
At around 7.30pm, firefighters were called to Church Road in Thurlton to reports of a crashed vehicle with a person trapped inside.
Crews from Loddon, Great Yarmouth and Gorleston attended the scene, with a spokesman for Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service saying it was initially reported that the vehicle was on fire - though this was not the case.
The motorist initially struggled to get out of the vehicle, however, by the time the crews arrived they had managed to escape.
Firefighters then made sure the scene was safe.
