Flooding across rail lines has closed the services between Norwich and Sheringham, One Railway confirmed today.
Trains destined for Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth had already been cancelled, but additional links to the north of Norfolk had to be suspended.
A spokesman for One said: “There are problems at Whitlingham Broad and the trains have had to be suspended, but we hope to restore those later this afternoon when the water recedes.
“However, the damage at Hadiscoe near Lowestoft is causing real problems and it could be a few days or weeks before the trains return to normal.”
