Two men have been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence following an incident in Pakefield, Lowestoft, on Wednesday night.
Police were called to Pakefield Street to a report a man and two women had visited a flat there at about 7.50pm and had then been threatened with what appeared to be a firearm.
Officers, including armed police, attended and the two men – a 21-year-old and a 23-year-old – were arrested a short time later.
The flat was searched and an air weapon and other property, including what are believed to be counterfeit DVDs, were seized. The two men are being questioned at Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre.
Anyone who may have been in Pakefield Street around this time last night who may have seen any part of the incident is asked to call DC 1173 Barnes at Lowestoft CID on 101.
