A man was arrested in Bungay this morning after he was seen with an axe outside a house in Hillside Road West.
Police were called to the scene and the man in his mid 20s was later arrested at Ditchingham Dam just before 11am on suspicion of assault.
He remains in custody this afternoon where he is being questioned by officers.
