A man in his late teens who was wanted by police was arrested in Diss on Friday night.
The arrest was made on St Nicholas Street near The Greyhound pub and Corn Hall.
An eye witness described a heavy presence of police on the street.
A police spokesman said one of the wanted man's friends became aggressive and there was a need for extra officers.
Only the man was arrested.
