Police were called to deal with a man threatening to take his own life in Attleborough High Street last night.
Five police cars and an ambulance were reported to have attended the incident at a property in the street at 10.20pm.
A Norfolk police spokesman said: 'Police were called to a property on the High Street in Attleborough yesterday evening at about 10.20pm following concerns for the safety of a man in his 40s.
'Negotiators attended the scene and the incident was safely resolved at 11.20pm. The male was taken to hospital for an assessment. No-one was hurt in the incident.'
