A man was taken to hospital after being crushed between a lorry and car in Norfolk.

The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) received a call just after 10am on Thursday (April 20) to Beach Road in Gorleston to a report that a man had been injured whilst trying to stop a HGV that had rolled off.

An ambulance crew attended in six minutes and assessed a man who had suffered minor injuries.

He was taken to James Paget University Hospital for further care.
