A man has been arrested after an attack on Riverside Road in Norwich on Saturday afternoon.
Police were called to reports of an injured man following a fight on Riverside Road at the junction with Rosary Road.
A pedestrian and a group of men in a vehicle were believed to be involved in the incident which happened at about 5.10pm on Saturday.
A police spokesman said a man was arrested on suspicion of affray and was being questioned by officers today about the incident.
The injured man was treated at the scene.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service Trust said: 'We received a call at 5.09pm on January 9 to Rosary Road, Norwich, to a man in his 40s who had suffered a head injury.
'However, the patient declined medical help and left the scene.'
