The police, fire, ambulance and coastguard were called to Staithe Lane at around 10.45pm to reports of a person in the water.

A fire service spokesman said crews from Hunstanton and King's Lynn used a ladder to retrieve the man.

It took place in the harbour area at the end of Staithe Lane.
