Police are investigating after a cyclist has been knocked off his bike and robbed in Norwich.

The victim, aged in his late teens, was approached by two men in a dark coloured Citroen Saxo, as he was cycling along Catton Grove Road near to the junction of Woodcock Road.

They threatened the victim and knocked him off his bike before a passer-by has intervened resulting in the suspects fleeing the scene in the vehicle.

The victim sustained a minor leg injury as a result of the incident and nothing was stolen.

Officers are appealing for information about the incident which happened at about 12.30am on Tuesday, November 17.
