Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was killed in a crash at Beetley, near Dereham, yesterday afternoon.
A black Honda Civic and a black Fiat Punto were travelling along the B1110 Holt Road towards North Elmham when, close to the junction with Green Lane, the Honda collided with a blue Vauxhall Astra heading in the opposite direction towards Dereham.
The Astra driver, a local man in his late 50s, died at the scene, while the Honda driver, another local man in his early 20s, received serious leg injuries and is being treated at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
Officers with the Serious Collision Investigation Team (SCIT) would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the crash, which happened at about 5.30pm.
